 Golf courses: 

There are several very well known Golf courses within 30 minutes of LIGHTHOUSE TOWER. 
Innisbrook is to the north about 25 minutes. One Internet page lists the following courses as being some of the best in the USA. All these are within 30 minutes or so of your apartment. From the Internet listing of the top 100 Golf courses in the US:

  Visit the Salvador Dalí collection in St. Petersburg.    (1 hour driving) The Salvador Dalí Museum is the permanent home of the world's most comprehensive collection of the renowned Spanish artist's work.
     
  The John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art in Sarasota  (1.5 hours driving) The John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art in its affiliation with Florida State University is the largest museum/university complex in the nation.

  Disney World, Sea World, Universal Studios, Epcot Center... 

The Florida attractions in Orlando are about 90 minutes by car from Lighthouse Tower. The Interstate offer easy access to all of them. It is easy to drive to the Orlando area, enjoy a day's worth of attractions and return to your apartment that evening.

....and after all:

Take a break on the (heated) pool or the beach in front of you and don't forget,  Florida has 340 days of sunshine per year !!!!!
